We have been here for 4 yrs we love going visiting almost daily after a long days skiing, welcome shots for Adults with non alcoholic shots for kids.Food is great and plentiful, not just Pizza or burgers!Staff are friendly welcoming and speak English. Nice decor with all the football scarves, we donated Stoke City in 2014. Recommend

I waas on my christmas vacation in Borovets and went couple of times there. From the few places we've been to this one I like the most. They have live music every night,the guitar man is realy great and he can even play whatever you want. The food is very delicious and various - I've tried mexican food. Highly recomended.

The derby is a great place to eat and drink.The staff and friendly and really good entertainment, thanks Bobby and Ivo.The food is superb. Free wifi and shots and they even put the best team in the world on telly on request.Much love n thankski,See you next year xx

Back to the Derby with the well dressed friendly staff. White shirts, black waistcoa.ts, not posh austere, but just real friendly fun waiters .Then you get real Bulgarian food,perfectly cooked really hot and tasty.The best place to eat in Borovets, and friendly staff,what more do you want

Drank in here last year but never ate due to being half board in our hotel. This year our Ski instructor Alex took us in for lunch. I fancied a pizza and chose a one that was called burning hot (I think?) It truly was amazing and definitely the nicest pizza I have ever tasted. It was delicious and spicy and made my tongue tingle. Role on 2015!

This is a lovely restaurant staff are very friendly especially Bobbi and ion food and service was fantastic can't do enough for you good atmosphere we'll recommend there beer and hot wine a few after a day on the slopes went there jan 2013 the staff revered us from befor certainly worth a visit highly recommended

We only went there for a pint after skiing once, but then we got this welcome shot on arrival.. That's it! The rest is history. We will always be back as long as we can. Fantastic small slightly traditional Bulgarian restaurant with delicious food. Overcrowded and loud sometimes, but then must be a reason for that.

I have always used the derby as a meeting point and decided to have lunch with the family one day. We just had burgers which the kids loved and were really nice. 3lev a beer so you cant beat it for value and you get a free shot.

We went to this restaurant 4 nights after skiing and the food is amazing. But another thing is musician that play his guitar and sing old rock songs like best of 60-is to 90-is and he is really good. Next year when we go to ski we will be there for sure.
