We had dinner at L'etranger on my Birthday. The food was VERY good. Everything at the place from the food to the music and the atmosphere seemed carefully selected, unpretentious, cozy and authentic. We enjoyed every minute and every bite of our dinner.

Das französischge Restaurantliegt etwas versteckt in einer Nebenstraße der grossen Fußgängerzone.Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr gut beraten.Ich hatte den Fisch des Tages (Lachs).Dieser war wunderbar zubereitet,auf den Punkt genau,meineFreunde Entenbrust und Kaninchen,die genau so gut zubereitet waren.Das Lokal ist absolut empfehlungswert.

Very tasteful interior and ambience. Freindly service. Little limited on the veggie options, so beautiful fish on the menu and the Duck I had was divine along with my brothers steak. Classic French arrogance regarding the calibre of the food, but what else would you expect from the French. Menu is only in French and Bulgarian, but that should in no way put you off. Would happily return or recommend.

L'Etranger est un véritable petit coin de France en Bulgarie. Résident français à Sofia depuis 5 ans, j'y vais régulièrement pour y retrouver les saveurs de la cuisine française, notamment de mon Périgord natal. Belle carte. Très bons produits. Une carte des vins équilibrée entre vins locaux et français. Et un service très sympa et francophone. Longue vie à L'Etranger !
