Velko is a friendly and flexible person. He is a careful listener, driver and guide. The time spent with him is interesting and full of stories about Bulgaria. We asked a day before for a trip and it happened after short negotiations. It was a Sunday felt like a friends' trip. I would do another tour with him next time in any mountainous region.

Second time with Velislav and he never disappoints with his hiking tours. Beautiful view points, friendly and charming guide and super knowledgeable about all things nature! Recommended 100% for solo travellers, couples or groups!

We did a one week tour focused on the culture, history and beauty of Bulgaria. We stayed at wonderful guest houses in cities and remote villages and ate fantastic food. We hiked mountains, explored caves and saw the sites. Most importantly, we gained an appreciation of what it means to be Bulgarian. We have been on 5 tours in Europe and our guide was the best. Practical, knowledgable, honest and a great story teller.

I booked Localite for my boyfriend who had to spend two days in Plovdiv. Velislav customized the two day-tours per our requests, was flexible on the pace of the tour and delivered a lovely experience. My boyfriend was thrilled to walk for hours and explore various areas of Plovdiv, learn about the history, people watch, and see a couple of museums too.Velislav was very friendly and approachable, spoke excellent English, and took great photos of my boyfriend during the tour.Highly recommended!
