Peshtirite is a wonderfully located place to eat on the mountain in Winter and Summer.Food is well cooked and cheap. Better value than any of the Ulen restaurants on the mountain.

Was cheaper and better coming off the ski trail to get some cheesy chips! The white cheese is similar to grated feta on the chips which was strange at first but very addicting! So came back almost every day! Chips were 5 lev with cheese, Deffo recommend the mochachinno too! Especially after the hard work of skiing down!

Great place to eat and drink. Tomato soup is amazing as is the homemade bread and hot wine. The perfect place to stop on your way down the mountain via the ski road. (Keep left at the split and this place is tucked away behind the padded safety fence.

Ate here every day whilst skiing. Food is great and very inexpensive, we tried cheesy chips, shopska salad, chicken nuggets, cheese with honey & walnuts, pork steak, homemade sausage and skewers, all excellent, washed down with dark beer. It’s made it into the top 40 mountain restaurants (reviewed in the Telegraph) for a reason! Steer clear of the gondola stop restaurants and head down the ski road at lunch time and it’s on the left hand side about 2km down.

Difficult to pass everytime I did the ski road last season. Amazing value, amazing food, great staff. My favourite cornflake chicken and chips and cheese in Bulgaria!

Not being owned by Ulen, this is a great wee place off the beaten track on the ski road back down to the town. Lovely Bulgarian food and beer at great prices. Will definitely ski here again!!

This place is lovely! A nice log fire going and the best cheesy chips we have ever eaten by far! Staff are friendly and it’s a nice little pit stop on the ski road home! Much cheaper too than on the mountain!

We have been here skiing a few times now and we always come home via the ski road so we can stop off at this restaurant. It is so cheap yet friendly and the cheesy chips are immense! A must go to!!

We have been going to Bansko for 4 years and this is our favourite restaurant, they always reserve us a table by the fire and are really friendly.Food is great especially the cheesy chips and chicken schnitzel.Great value for money, can’t wait till next year!!
