You can get into many of the best museums and galleries in Plovdiv with the card, which saves money, and on top of that, you get a free wine tasing tour with surprisingly good Bulgarian wine as well as discounts in good local restaurants, bars and even for different tours in the city.

My husband and I bought Plovdiv City Card at the last minute and it was well worth it! We spent most of our time in the Old Town and visited a few of the revival houses, 2 art galleries and the famous ancient theatre, which was spectacular. There's a place we really liked because of the view and the food - Rahat Tepe Restaurant, it overlooks the city. We used the card there as well and got free wine with our meals - a nice addition I think! We will definitely try city card again. :)

This card is super useful. It covers all the major sights in Plovdiv for free, like the Ancient Roman Theatre and some very beautiful house-museums in the Old Town that are worth visiting - the Balabanov and Hildliyan houses. It also has a free wine tasting - we were able to try Bulgarian wine from the region which was pretty cool. It saved us a lot of time. Definitely recommend it! :)
